Callers name is Steve. Asked to remove me from the calling list. Asked me why? Told him I'd report him to the FCC and he asked me who the FCC was. Caller has a distinct foreign accent.
Beware please from any calls related to this number. It is a PC scam regarding running a diagnostic analysis of your desktop or laptop. Report them to the FCC. These are not telemarketers and yes, the caller does have a foreign accent.
Yes. This person, it is more than one, has called before spoofing other numbers with his PC scam. They just need to find one person out of many thousands to fall for it so NEVER give any information over the phone unless you call and are 100% sure about who youi are talking to.
I know of no reason for anyone from there to be calling me and I have been plagued by scam callers, so I didn't answer, but I suspect it was an attempt to see if I would bite on a different number.
