I received a call from this number stating that I was chosen to win a 7,000 dollar grant for doing a survey back in December the man then asked me questions to verify who I was and asked for my social security number and I told him I wasn't comfortable giving that information so he quickly changed the subject and asked me did I have a pen and paper then gave me a number to call and a 7 digit confirmation number to give his "account manager" to receive the grant. They claimed to be from the united states federal government.
I received a call from them asking for my father, stating that he was my father's cousin and needed to speak with him. The accent was clearly Indian. He kept saying over and over again "Where's (my father's name). This is his cousin." Very strange, I hung up and blocked the number.
