they called several family memebers. must have skimmed info from something. said he was vince davis, from PCS, could not understand. awhen i called back, they just answered the phone "hello", didnt say anything, then said "legal". said something else, I couldnt understand, then said call back with my lawyer.
I recieved a call stating that he was Ricky Jones and he was calling because there is a law suit against my social. This is not the first that they have called. They have called from different numbers and used different names. The get your info from off line and then the call you stating they have a law suit with your SSN when basically they are trying to scam you. Please I repeat DO NOT FALL FOR IT OR DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MORE OF YOUR INFO OR GIVE THEM MONEY.
They have been calling for for months on my work cell phone, claiming that my name and SSN have been named in a law suit. The most recent call was on 04/09/2012, from a Jackie Williams. He asked for me to call them back immediately or they will report me to my employer.
Couldnt make out his name but thick accent. Said he was from PCS Legal Department threatening a federal investigation on my SS. Says if I call back charges wont be filed against me. Called me at work. he kept saying my social security number. It was very scary.
Got a call from a person with a heavy accent who said that there was an investigation in regards to me and to call an attorney named Alex Parker. Sounded like person was calling from a call center. Called my home number first and then my cell phone number. Told him that I suspected this to be a scam and that I would report this to the proper authorities if I found this to be the case. Googled number after the call was recieved and found several reports.
