Someone foreign sounding called me on my cell phone from this number. I couldn't hear them very well or understand them. They were claiming to be a friend of someone. I have no idea who they are or what they want.
they keep calling me at my home every day of the week telling me they work for micro soft and my computer has a viris ( 1 ) im not on line and ( 2 ) my computer is torn apart i have told them repeatly every day dont call this number and take me off there call list and they seem to refuse so now im taking it to the next level i am contacting the justice department and homeland security about these scam artist whosay they work for microsoft if so someone will be sued i live in Montana.
This caller identifies themselves as a "Microsoft Windows" representative, and says that "your computer has been sending messages to Windows indicating that it needs help" - they offer to help by asking you to allow them to gain remote access to your computer! HANG UP! This is a scam, and should be reported to MICROSOFT Corporation./
I don't like being called ignorant. It was a scammer, wanting to get inside my computer, and also pocketbook.
I've put the number on ignore, so they'll have to use another number to call me.
I've heard this same guy a number of times using different numbers, with different venues.
I am on the Do Not Call List.
