Just get VoIP. With it, you can control all functions of calls. Set it up so the next time that number rings, forward the call to the local DEA Diversion number. Poof. it won't ring your number, and most likely they will have a massive bowel movement.
I too received a call from this number and they didn't leave a message. I called back and they said they were glad I called, they are with a helath care provider.
got numerous calls from this number on my cell phone, asking for someone other than me, and I have had the same number since August of the year 2000, over 12 yrs.
They called me and immediately hung up after I answered but when I returned the call a man with a heavy accent calling himself "Frank" said he wanted to talk to me regarding my phentermine prescription. I've never had a prescription for that and he wasn't associated with Blue Cross (my insurer)- it definitely seemed like a scam and unlikely a mistake since I've had this number for 10 years.
12/27/12 rec'd call; SOOOO tired of these yank offs calling; going on for years...
asked if i wanted to refill my script; i told them sure! they said they were having a sale; woohoo--
... i told them i wanted some of everything; and i needed 10,000 lot; then they ended up hanging up.
these jerks will call you for the rest of your phone number life; they are like AIDS; they never leave.
it does no good to tell them to quit calling so if i f#ck with them enuff; maybe they'll go away?
