That should tell you the calls you're receiving are dishonest, and uncovered by the DNC list. You don't have to answer in any way and it's better if you don't. DNC is not a call-blocking service and doesn't mean your phone's not going to ring. Criminals have no regards for laws and DNC lists.
Second call in two days, one mid-morning and one early evening. Both were hang-ups when my answering message played, with no caller ID. Now on block list.
i got the same call this morning im so glad i can block these scammers. he was very rude as well using swear words. if he was any kind of salesman he would not be using swearwords so i know right then and there it was a scam
I received a called from this number at 4:45 pm EST asking questions about the amount of my electric bill and telling me there would be someone in the area (actually named my street name) in the hours of 3, 4, 6 and 8pm tomorrow and they wanted to know a good time to come and do a energy savings survey. I told him we were not interested. He went so far as to ask if I have had a power bill over $150.00 at least once a year. I reply yes, but most of the time, we average about $100.00 to $120.00. He said that the State of Florida had passed a bill to cause us to pay more for our power and they were able to show us ways to save money. I told him we were not interested. He then asked for my husband, which was as if he was saying I am not smart enough to discuss things of this type. I was very insulted by that, but I did hand the phone to my husband. My husband repeated everything that I had told the man Greg. He further explained to him that we are a part of Energy Co-OP Clay Electric and we have a yearly member meeting and every year we receive a refund from Clay electric. I also tried to tell him we were not interested and to please take us off of their calling list. I didn't like the fact that he said he had someone in our neighborhood where we have had several thefts from vehicles.
