Received a call on our cell phone yesterday. Our cell is set to block all calls except on our contact list. Did some checking and one website had a individual report that the caller left a message indicating "...there have been six home burglaries in your area..." The individual speculated that the caller was hustling alarm services.

Called and told me my social security number was being suspended due to suspicious activity. I hung up and called them back and there was a ton of background noise (like a call center) and a Spanish speaking male was mumbling 'don't worry about is...the U.S. marshals will be on your doorstep in 60 minutes'.
