They called my mom's phone asking for me. She said i didn't live there and they hung up. Since i googled the number before attempting to call back and got a hit. I'm not going to call it.
They have been calling here for a while but have always called when no one is home. Never leave a message. Finally decided to call (8:50 EST) Recorded male voice says I have reached what sounds like Mya Tella Services. Gives business hours as Mon through Fri 8-5 CST. Adds that if you have questions or concerns, or would like to be added to their Do Not Call Database to please call back during business hours. Since my number is on the Nationwide Do Not Call List, I plan on calling them during business hours and finding out who/what they are.
This is a company who are carrying out a survey on the up coming elections. They claim to be a political organization but when challenged on the legality of the call they claimed they were not selling or anything they are a political organization and could not get it right. I warned them that I am on the do not cal (State and National) and they should be checking that before calling. I was told they did not have to because they are a political party, this is where they are wrong they introduced themselves as a company at the begining of the conversation.......Watch out for the tricks they try.
