Heavy accent male called to offer compensation for the bladder sling I DO NOT HAVE. Asked some questions and then put his supervisor on who repeated the same questions. Then said he would speak with someone and give me a call back. That was about an hour and 45 minutes ago. How do people come up with so many scams? If they put the effort into something 'real' they would be wealthy. Somewhat difficult to understand.
They called all day so I called back and said they were looking for someone and said they were a "business" and when I asked what business they hung up. I called back and asked to be taken off the call list and they hung up. This went on for several different phone calls. On the last call i made i said if im not taken off the list im reporting. I didnt know til reading comments here what they were even calling about and foubd out it's literally the same people that called me from a different series of phone numbers about a bladder sling. I reported them too so maybe thats why they called me from daytona beach this time. I don't understand how after all these complaints nothing gets done and they still get to call and harass people all day. Something has to get done here. I will definitely keep reporting until they stop.
Complaints her help others, such as yourself. You did say that you had no idea what the calls wer about until you came here. So in effect, your are now more educated and your post will help others.
You have to understand that these are criminals, probably based in a foreign country where our laws are ignored mostly because their governments take bribes to look the other way.
Reporting will one day help. In the meantime, buy a call blocker, call blocking phone or download a free call blocking app.
They have been calling me several times a day for a week now. About a bladder mesh sling and one was about blood thinners. I tell them to take me off their list and they hang up on me! I've submitted a complaint to the do not call registry last week and I guess I'll have to continue with that. I did block their number just now on my phone as it seems to be coming from the same number, at least today. I am relieved to see this isn't just me but feel bad for everyone else out there because this is ridiculously annoying.
