I just went through the same thing but mine was with a camera I had on Craig's list. I called the police, and I also have all the info. I hope they catch these people. I also had a guy with an accent call me. I told him that I was going to keep the money because I was greedy. Then I told him that there was no way I was sending him money from an account that was closed. He hung up, then I texted them and said " GOTCHA'. I haven't heard anything else.
So im going thru this right this second. for you guys who have contacted the police are they even trying to find them? Because we contacted them and apparently aren't really trying to do anything. LETS KILL THIS [***]!
This caller is clearly a criminal. Great help to search any Craigslist reply to any of your posts for the phone number and learn of others (unfortunate) experiences. This one is a crook.
