This is a guy from india telling me I defaulted on a pay day loan (I don't have any payday loans) Wants money to stop the court action..he tried to scare me but told him I will go to court..He got mad and hung up

CAN YOU VERIFY THE NAME OF PERSON WHO IS CALLING YOU. BECAUSE I TOO GET SUCH CALLS FROM THEM.

Hi. But be cautious as not all collection calls may be scam. As
one of my cousin was arrested in his workplace. He even lost his
job and reputation. He too used to get calls from an Indian guy. But later on it proved that he works from Florida. Take care. As many time we take loans from USA cash express  and fail to pay them back. and then get such calls.

You don't get arrested for that, at least in the USA. Maybe in your country, but that's a different matter.
