Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
This number 386*516*8602 has called me four times today with a recorded message threatening legal action if I do not respond. They say they are the US Dept of Treasury. They have the same recording - the same Indian accent. When you try to call this number from either a cell or land line the call 'cannot be completed as dialed'. I had the same call earlier this week from a different number that I was able to call and when I did and asked for the person that left me the message the call was disconnected. Surprise. Surprise. I fear that some elderly person will fall for this obvious scam as the Feds do not call you - I did check that out. Please get rid of these pests!!!
