What is the purpose of repeatedly calling someone's phone number and not responding when they answer the phone??? This number, (386) 742-4041, has called our home phone number 5 times in the last hour and a half and no one speaks when we answer. We have tried calling their number but the calls won't go through. We get that "call can't be completed as dialed" message. It's really very annoying. Caller i.d. says Consumer United. I can't really find any good inormation on line. It may be a car insurance company, but I can't confirm. Their supposed web address is www.consumerunited.com, but it won't load in my browser. I am surmising that it is a scam of some sort, but for what purpose??
