Just had the same thing, they called and I answered and nothing on the other end. An hour later they called and I answered but there was someone on the other end supposedly from Directv Install Services. he was not from Daytona Beach, more like Bombay Beach, no offense intended. It seemed very Shady to me.
This is DirecTV calling, I've gotten over 30 calls from that number and called them and told them if I receive another call from them I will cancel my service and move to another provider. He assured me we were removed from the "call list", I guess we'll see how that goes.
Thanks for posting it was Directv. I got the call on the 24th as well and no msg was left on my voice mail. I did recently get service last week so it adds up. They are overkill on phone calls, so ridiculous.
Hopefully the DTV people will read these posts. I recently had them come and update my DVR. Since then, I answered a call and told them that the install went just fine, no complaints, tech was great. The problem is that they have called no less than 23 times from 3 different #'s which i have had to block because they are so annoying! Get the hint DTV! Stop calling if the customer doesn't want to respond or at least record it when they do, so the phone calls stop! This is rediculous! I wish I didn't have to give them my phone #! A month later and they are still bothering me!
