Person calls and states they are from an online pharmacy and they are cinfurming the order I placed, when I never ordered anything. After I tell them that I didnt place any order, they say ih yes u did, I have the order and its coming to ur home . I was irate and going back and forth (either indian or arabian person) w this idiot he was saying yes its coming, I would say no its not....seriously about 20 times that was said. I have been getting these phone calls since a few weeks ago and this is not the only phone number its coming from....all different types of out of state area codes....here is the best...when I call the num back....ther is no such number..."this is not a working number please check the number and try again" !!! All the numbers are like that.
Like a dummy, I signed up for an appointment to get a free "Touch Pad" from "Global Connections". They're supposedly a "travel agency" in Orlando, FL, but when my phone began to ring incessantly to confirm my appointment. I called them to cancel giving them the reason that they were just too pushy, thus raising flags. I told them I would reschedule and couldn't get off the phone with them. I then told them to forget the entire arrangement, (meeting, presentation, gift) because the very fact I couldn't get off of the phone with them, was proof positive that they had nothing I wanted to get involved with.
I had to call their 800 number because this number's (386-868-3403 Daytona Beach, FL) voicemail box was full, further raising flags.
so u did not go to the appointment? I wander what others think about this particular offer...I have scheduled a time but have no interest in investing in a time share...I just want the free Touchpad. I am probable a fool!
