Called saying he needed to verify PayPal account and asked for full name and ss#. Local area Caine so I asked him what part of the country he was calling from because I was quite sure he wasn't local. He's response was ok then call back when you can verify and hung up. I have had a PayPal account for probably 8 years and never had someone call before to verify. Why can't these scam scum just go get a life.
Caller said he was with a collection agency for Entergy. Tried to tell me that I owed over $340 from an address that I lived at in 2001. The Entergy bill was never in my name to begin with. When I called the # back a woman answered "Hello" - really professional. This is a Sprint phone # - SCAM
5/17/2016 - Call came in to my work number. Female asking verification questions that I refused to answer. She kept stating that she could not discuss what she was calling about without me verifying; but would state that it was in regards to Entergy. I told her I did not discuss business or give out info to callers, and that she should send me something in writing through US Mail... that way I would have something to take into court if she was running a scam. She said, thank you and have a nice day, then hung up.
