When I answered I was told I may have won $1,000,000 WOW!!! Then they asked what magizine I wanted to subscribe to, and asked if I wanted to pay for it with my Visa, Master Card or Discover. I said I wasn't interested in any of their offers, and the lady actually started arguing with me about how could I NOT be interested in winning a million dollars. I tried calling back to complain, but it was some recording that wanted me to enter my phone #. JUST DON"T ANSWER! This may be some publisher clearing house scam to sell something by saying I'm qualified to win a million dollars. I guess the mail is too expensive and they just call now.
I received 4 phone calls from number 504-208-2896 this afternoon. My husband answered the 5th call (woman 's voice) said she was from Publisher's Clearing House, then, turned right around and said she was from a major credit card company. When my husband said that he knew this was a scam, she hung up!
A call is coming in on my cell phone a few times a day and this number along with 3 other numbers are calling after a few days it switches area code and continues to call with the same recording, blank, won't pick-up, same recording about caller id or a post card.
