(I don't believe in free cruises. Maybe they should have just offered me a free lunch -- there are such things as free lunches aren't there?! Sarcasm intended.)
When the call is phone spam to begin with, I don't trust pressing any buttons to do anything. It may to nothing more than validate that I listened to their pitch and set me up for more phone spam. Not saying it doesn't work, just saying I'm not willing to take the risk. Instead, I file a complaint via the do-not-call registry, then block the number.
