I live in area 504, and these calls keep dunning me, too. Another recent number, in addition to this one has been 504-272-2634. The last call, last night, at 8:30 PM (that really is too late) was a robo recording of a well-modulated man's voice saying, "Hello..." -- it sounded almost as if this person was trying to make a pick-up (like at a bar). The robo call got what it wanted, evidence that my number is a live number. You can't put down your guard or your Caller ID for a split second! Villains!
Dear Mr. Collins, I am certain beyond a reasonable doubt that I know who the person is who is afflicting you and me with these multiple prank phone calls. It would be futility to try to take action against him. The best thing to do is to mute the ringer on your phone or check caller ID, and ignore the calls.
