Same....caller had basic info about me but would not state what she was calling about, or who she was working for. Said she couldn't say what it was about without verifying who I was. It was WAY too suspiciousI If you're legit, send me a letter. No way am I going to verify information over the phone.
Got a call from this person...Based on their accent, they couldn't decide if they were from Australia or India. Told me I owed $4k to AT&T and they were assigned to collect on my account. I asked them about a letter and he said no letter had been sent today but he was so helpful in trying to get me to set up payment arrangements by asking me for my banking account number and routing number. Said he worked for ERC-Enhanced Recovery Center. THIS IS A SCAM! DON'T FALL FOR IT.
