After doing a little research, it seems that Joseph Steven and Associates is a Rip off collection agency who are not even licensed in most of the states they deal in. Be VERY careful in dealing with these people. I'm finding more and more stories online about people being ripped off by these people...

BUT... according to a few different websites, they are not even located in Ventura California. They are actually located in Camarillo CA, in an small office space at the Camarillo Airport, on Airport Way.

they are at it again!!! I received a call asking me to hold the line and someone would answer my call in the order it was received (???)  then the call would disconnect....when calling the number back it automatically plays hold music and I was place on eternal hold literally!!....
