Fell for same scam... Avoid at all costs. I also wish I'd seen these posts beforehand. Should have been more skeptical when asking to transfer money to a bank account. Again, BEWARE of Craigslist, many good things about website but a few scumbags ruin great things. Phone # given after transfer. No answer, wanted to leave callback # but was a telemarketer.

Wow, I am so glad you all posted this information. I just finished sending in my booking form I had to fill out yesterday! and he promptly replied with banking information on where to send the money, a total of $440. I would have sent it when I got off earlier however, I had the second thought to research these people to confirm they are legit. I would have been caught in a bind if it wasn't for you all.
I believe I have fallen for the same scam. I found them on Craiglist and wired them $640 and have yet to hear any response as the house I was looking to rent was for Memorial Day Weekend. If anyone knows of any action I can take for this I would greatly appreciate it.
