If the calls are NOT for her, then she needs to contact them directly to have her name and number removed (She does NOT need to give them any more info than that).

If they fail to remove her, they are then in violation of numerous laws and she can then sue them for harassment. That's all I was suggesting.

Also, you are right though, Bud Hibbs does have some great advice.

While I've never had a collection agency issue or been past due on anything in my life, I have had friends and family who have been in that situation and have come to me for advice. I have recommended his site to them each and every time.
