If this number was truly being dialed by a call-making machine at Loyola University, the calls would not come almost every day at exactly the same time. That is not the only weird aspect about these calls. I have reason to believe that the person who originates the calls is a certain attorney who lives in the house next door to mine on the south side.

Some months ago, there was another spate of such calls under the spoofed ID of Loyola University. I checked with the university, and was told "we just had an automatic dialing system put in, and we have to work out some of the quirks". As if!
