Same thing as everyone else has been receiving. I very happily thanked him for calling and asked him to hold on while I completed the trace on his phone call. He informed me that he no longer wanted to talk to me and hung up. I think that I need to memorize Liam Neeson's line from Taken for the next time one of these scumbags call.
The usual IRS scam. Woman with a heavy Indian (?) accent. As soon as she said IRS I started to ask if she was going to send me my money. I kept up this line until she gave up and quit. Have fun with these creeps. Blocked so I won't hear from them again (at least not from this number).
If you have time, jerk them around if not, just hang up or leave the phone off the hook for a while.
Received from seargent James Patterson on my voice mail at 8:40a.m. that I should contact the legal dept. At this number involving a case of fraud. And tax evasion. I should call before this action would be filed in a federal court. No one will answer the phone at this number.why can t the I r s trace this number and track down the individuals behind this scam?
