Cid; REP NAT COM
No message left, I wish they would leave a message so I could call them back and give me my opinion on their new and improved healthcare program. If it is good enough for all your voters why is it not good enough for you all???
I got a call from this fake number and they didn't leave message on my machine but I could hear someone on the line. The caller id read "Repub Nat Com", Really, how fake is that. The area code is Virginia but a trace came up with 2 cities, Sterling and Herndon Virginia. Both of these cities are right next to each other, no surprise there. This is the third phone number I've received a call from someone claiming to be the RNC and each was from a different state. With the elections nearing, this problem is just going to increase and anyone calling for political reasons is more that likely a scammer. Block if you can and report them.
We received a call from this number (on July 21, 2015, at 10:40 a.m.) which shows it to be the Republican National Committee. When I nicely asked Brett to take our number off his list due to our being inundated with political calls, he played the game of, "Sorry, I cannot hear you." He did this several times before he hung up. Note: he could hear me just fine prior to my request. Very shady and completely unprofessional. Not a good way to handle the situation and not a good way to gain supporters.
I gave some money to the John McCain campaign in 2008, and ever since have been hounded with calls from the RNC about giving money. I only give money to specific campaigns and never to a national party. The Democrats bother me too when I supported them 39 years ago. I am an Independent. I am going to start ignoring all numbers I do not know because these people are persistent.
Very annoying! Calls several times a day. When I answered one call and told them I was on the DNC list, this person informed me that they were exempt, to which I replied, "Just because you're exempt, doesn't mean I have to talk to you!" And then I promptly hung up on this jerk.
