Said they were offering "mechanical breakdown protection".. asked them how they got my # & name, they said it was from the DMV. I said "bullsh|t - the DMV is wh0ring itself and giving out our private data to nameless scam shysters?"
These low-life scammers offering "mechanical breakdown protection" and saying they got my info from the DMV should be shot. But since they probably work from some rat-infested basement in a nondescript decrepit office park, I probably won't be able to hunt them down. But at least I can vent here, even if it does no good at all.
asked for me by name, then said something like "if they see the name and they don't like the look of the name, like asian or indian, then f&$% yeah" and hung up. odd.
