Get several calls a day from different numbers but these #'s call daily. Usually do not leave a message and if you pick up it is a recording. Sometimes recording says that you have won a free medical alert. Usually hang up after that!
I called back and got a recorded voice asking for money from the "Veterans Support Foundation". This is a Scam! This "foundation" is on the watch list for scams by people who use our patriotic guilt to donate money to a foundation that will not give a dime to the vet's. And, while we're talking about Vet's... if anyone does want to help... CT has a VA Hospital in West Haven. Please give your time to our vet's. Sometimes it's better than money.
