The 571 area code is used pretty much all over Northern VA. This particular number shows an address of Ashburn, VA, which is in Loudoun County. And I think you're right that it's also used for some land line phones now (in addition to cell phones) and, since reverse lookup shows a name and address, I think this one is most likely a land line. Also because a name and address is available, I have a feeling that this is some small business doing their own telemarketing. They have a tendency to believe that they can ignore the do-not-call registry or that the FTC won't do anything about it, and they may be right. I've had the same problem with a small business in Fredericksburg (Rayne something) that offers free water testing as a lead-in to try to sell water softeners. I've reported them countless times but they still keep calling. I'm beginning to wonder what good the DNC registry even does.
That number has called here at least three times each of the last three days. It is the area code of Prince William County VA cell phone numbers . . . and I think maybe even some regular PWC numbers. We have an answering machine that they don't leave a message on plus caller ID which just comes up "unavailable".

The caller ID said it was Young Simo C. When I called the number a live human came on saying they were Direct volume. Also the noise in the background sounded like it was a telemarketing call center. I reported the number to the FCC.

I won a $50,000.00 Kitchen Makeover, How Cool. I told the guy I am not interested, he insisted on going on, I told him he is a telemarketer and I am not interested, he insisted he wasnt. well he called my first line about the same time the second line rang, guess what same number. hmmm they also called last night at 21:05. Simply we wont answer, but i was curious sio I answered. Guess maybe I should report them if they insist on calling back again, but what happens if I look them up can call their other number a little research should do the trick. Call lasted about 1 minute. LOL so much for the DNC list, umm unless I need to renew it.
