He just called me and I gave him my number and told him if he ever called me again and I would come there and cut his f*%@^#g fingers off! We'll see how they take direct threats.
It's nice to know that the National Do Not Call Registry works for someone. But it's working for the wrong people. The telemarketers are the one it shouldn't work for. It's us, the public, that get harrassed by these people and we register with NDNCR. I'd like to get hold of these people and ask them how do they get it to work for them!!?? But they won't say anything here lately when I answer our business phone. The number does belong to an on line Yellowpage company. Way back when they did start calling, they said they wanted to "confirm" our company information to update their records to continue our ad. I told them we don't have an add with an on line Yellowpage company and that our company information has not changed, but I wasn't going to verify anything with them. The guy hung up on me. Now when they call, and I answer, they automaticially hang up. Must be the same guy calling and he remembers what I told hiim the last time. LOL!!
We received a call from this guy at this number today. I had received one previously from a number in North Carolina about yellowpages.com and our first year was free, now it has been another year and we owe $550 and if we didn't pay then they would charge you $1200, blah, blah, blah....after that phone call I decided to knipp it in the bud and called my phone company. They told me we already had a block on third party charges and that they wouldn't get far. In other words a scam. I too tried calling the number back with no luck, so today when I got a call from this Virginia number and the guy proceeded to go through his spill....I told him NO, I don't think so I think you are full of S**T and he replied you too MOTHER F**KER and hung up the phone. We all had a good laugh here at the office, but I so WISH that there was a way to catch these guys and really stick it to em'! I am SO TIRED of BEING SCAMMED!!!!
They kept calling and hanging up when I answered with the usual business greeting. So today I answered by yelling "HEY" and someone replied. I asked why they kept calling and hanging up and a young man with a thick Indian accent said he was trying to update our Yellow Pages listing. I told him to please put a stop on this, as I had told the company before that we are not buying any ads.
Wanting to update my information for the yellow book .com
Very hard to understand with all of the noise on the line and the other sales people in the background yelling into their phones (probably from all the noise on the line).
