My fiancé just got a text from this number saying she won a $1000 Walmart gift card and to go to prize-patrol.net/Walmart and enter GIFT. I smell a scam
Got a text msg this AM saying I'd won a Walmart $1,000 gift certificate. I smell something stinky. How'd they get my number? The entry wasn't personalized. These scammers make me angry. And since I don't have texting on my plan, they've cost me money.
Just got the same message. I am on a do not call registry (which has never seemed to work). I don't give my phone number out except to those that need to know it so I am not sure how they got my number for a scam. Based on what I am seeing, this is quite possibly a scam and you should avoid responding. Report the number to your cell provider.
