Another spoofed number on a tie-line used by Trans World Systems, rogue debt collectors. We don't owe anyone anything, but they keep calling our number, which is new. It may have been previously issued to someone who was the target of Trans World. Despite repeated requests to stop calling us, they persist. We particularly object to their calling close to 9 PM, long after the little ones have gone to sleep, so we shut off the landline ringers at 7 PM. Another number they use to annoy us is 703-260-2601, which is also reported in this forum. Blocked, but they still call.

Then I would suggest that you do the following as they will not stop until you give them a reason to stop:
You need to send them a certified, return receipt "not me" letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested). Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it. Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter. You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to. Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment. If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it. Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front): http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

Read up on your rights here and also make a complaint at this government site: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

Add 571-260-2555 to the list of spoofed numbers being used by the rogues at Trans World Systems. This includes 571-260-2577 and 571-260-2601. In each case, caller Id shows "Virginia." They don't even have the decency to indicate their company name on caller Id. How low can you go? Complaints have been filed with the Feds and State authorities, since we are being harassed about debts that are not ours.
