I just got same call. Pretty sure it's fraud. I have outstanding tax from identity theft last year. Going to call irs and find out and report this number.
Called my cell # I have a blocker on it so it doesn't ring but they can leave a message, left message I fraud charges for not paying my taxes (I'm an accountant) really - WTH - so I called the number back from a landline and it says IRS please wait for next available audit assistant then hangs up - SCAM SCAM SCAM - the IRS would never call. When the all comes onto my phone it does show the 800-829-1040 which is the IRS number to check your taxes but really why call from one number and leave another number to call back, these people are dumb
Got a call no number just a message saiding Iaw sue and Tax fraud to call IRS @ 571-290-2010 new it was a scam hear on the news two days ago that someone was do this.
