A message was left on my answering machine (10/8) from a "gentleman" with a thick (sounded like Pakistani accent) telling me to call this number because legal action was being taken against my husband and me: tax fraud and a Federal Claim was being brought against us. Our last name was horribly mispronounced and I am unable to understand what the name of the company is he is representing.
I'm pretty sure this is a prank call!
I received a call from 571-290-2031 on October 7th, 2014 from an Officer Sandra ( thick foreign accent - Arabic)
who said that she was an investigator for the IRS and that they were filing a Tax Fraud complaint against me.
I hung up and she dialed again and left this message for me. Then she tried to call back again and I did not answer.
She went on to say that they were filing a case against for me at the federal building tomorrow and to call they asap.
I tried to dial that number on another phone but found out that the number does not exist
Got a call on my answering machine from a man with a foreign accent. He threatened me with IRS investigation into "fraud". Of course, I needed to call as soon as possible. He almost misread his own number. Terrible people.
