If you or your attorney don't return the call you will suffer the consequences. If I don't hear from you or your attorney just "good luck". It definitely was an automated voice with a Jamaican/South African accent. Very difficult to understand. Received today at 1:28pm
I just got the same message. Some dill hole saying that if my attorney or I don't call back that I will need good luck. At least that is what it sounded like...hard to tell with the accent.
called me saying he was the irs which does not make since seeing I just got my taxes.. either way I knew it was some kind of fraud call .. is there anyway to report him??
There is a widespread IRS or "tax scam" being practiced by scammers on both Canadian and USA residents.
USA tax payers should read this:

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

This scam is also described as scam #11, here:

If you were contacted by an IRS impostor, you may file a report, after clicking on this link:

This idiot called and left me two messages today. I hope he does call me tomorrow, and then he can talk to my attorney--I will have choice words for him. I am going to figure out how to report this to the FBI. Does anyone know if this has been reported with this number?
Received the same call today. Said he was officer fluster from the irs. He left a message to stating to call back due to a high sensetive matter. If i would not call back then good luck. Called back told them they were not its and told them not to ever fn call me again. The guy said yes ok sorry thank you and hung up.
