Called back and they say they will put you on do not call list if you press 1.  I don't have any colleges that I know of that would contact me this way.

I received a call asking I give $1200 for a life time alumni membership. I almost agreed it sounded so convincing

Called 1/11/17.  Blocked.  Don't ever give personal or financial info to someone who calls you.  Ever.  Ever.

Called twice today.  Did not answer and they did not leave message.  If they don't leave a message it's usually a scammer.  Don't answer.

It really is the Duke Alumni Association - you can call the Alumni Association to confirm.
