They called and hung-up early in the morning. This did not get their call answered. Many illegit calls incoming lately. Thanks for the posts here, clarifying them as scammers. I get so sick of the kiddie and puppy scams in the mail and on TV. What are seniors? A bunch of American idiots and cash cows? NOT!
They DO call early in the morning, perhaps wishing to catch seniors with low blood flow in the brain, foggy and susceptible to the buzz-word: "CHILDREN". It is so cruel. Obviously, some seniors are lonely and miss, their children. Seniors are often charmed at the sight, or the thought of a child. Thank you for your posts, here.
Since you have posted twice, I am guessing you are on this scammer's list. Time to block these calls, maybe? The more you talk to them, even to tell them off, the more they will call. Thanks for your posts!
I actually answered this so I could make an informed report to Eight Hundred Notes, but they hung up! Also had a couple of answering machine hang-ups from 571-302-9154. I think I'll block the entire 571-302 prefix.
