This absolute clown emailed me and text me over two hours yesterday.
Knowing it was obviously a scam when he asked me to ship my item to his 'friend' from my ad on the Los Angeles Craigslist, I had nothing better to do so I entertained him for two hours sending many texts back and forth getting his hopes up and telling him what he wanted to hear before deciding I needed to go to bed so I told him to finally f*** off. He finished up by just saying 'lol' - I guess he appreciated the time and effort I put I to messing with him. At one point he even sent me te address in Nigeria where he wanted me to send it to and got really excited when I suggested I'd send the item BEFORE I received the 'monies'.
Response to my craigslist ad selling a car, this is a scam pretending to be a petroleum engineer buying a car for his son or boss depending on the scam that week. This number has contacted me a number of times.
This phone number also tried to scam us when selling a car on Craigslist. He wanted to send a "pick up agent" without even seeing the car. And he wanted all of our information to send money via Paypal. We knew it was suspicious. Do not fall for this scam!
He emailed me last night. Claimed to be Terry a Petroleum Engineer offshore wanting this for his son. He starting texting this morning asking for my Paypal info to pay for my item so he could send his shipping agent. Big Scam!
Good ol' Terry has been busy. He was up at 5:30 trying to rip me off. I think the most comical part of this whole situation is that my father really is an oil engineer from the South and engineers in the South A.)CALL IT OIL and B)USE PROPER GRAMMAR.
