This number called our business today at 0829, just as the clock was rolling over to 0900. Real Johnny-on-the-spot. I saw on the caller ID "Arlington VA" and knew there was a 99% chance it was a b.s. call. So I let it go to the recorder. Apparently their system can tell the difference between a recorder and a person because it disconnected without leaving a message. For whatever reason, there's been a sudden glut of so-called merchant service calls recently. I wonder if the same idiots who do the Google-based scam are behind it and are just trying a new twist. At 0931 hours, yet another alleged merchant services company called. Two calls this morning and both have been scam artists/unwanted spammers.
