Caller ID read "Care Services". I usually don't answer calls from obvious telemarketers, but I did pick this one up. There was a delay (an obvious sign of a robocall) and then a robotic recording named "Irene" started talking about giving me help with outstanding debt. She was programmed to use my answers to go on to her next recorded blurb, so even when I said, "no", she switched recordings and started to explain that it was not a sales call. I hung up during that canned speech. I can't even feel bad that it's just some person trying to make a living, because it was a recording! There are no words that can describe the bottom-feeding [***] behind these scams.
