When I get these calls I turn off the voice mail and the ringer and let it ring silently forever. Gives me plenty of time to check the number here and decide if it might be a live person I can mess with or just a robot that needs to be hung up on.
I receive a call from a Google maps solicitor at least once every day . . . sometimes 2-3 time a day. Evidently, Google has not authorized these calls and they are a scam . . . you can't stop them . . . anyone have any ideas?
Funny stuff. When I answered "Administration" no recording ever came on, so I hung up. I only answered the second time. The first time they disconnected before I could pick up. That was about 10 seconds before the second call. I did notice the display panel said: "Call Diverted to 571-364-0156." All I can think of is, that is one system telling another (ours) that the number is spoofed.
I get calls from this number and many other numbers --- all related to google --- NOT interested and TIRED of being hassled every day even though I've repeatedly requested and opted out from these types calls!
