Received a call from 571-364-0373 @ 6:56 PM with caller ID as "Manassas VA" . . . caller is soliciting funds under the guise of ‘Charity’ for “I Company” (Corp office located in Texas) for the local Manassas, VA Police Protection fund. Caller will not take ‘No’ for an answer. This “I Company” is soliciting funds and will keep most, if not ALL, donations (that normally is collected/paid through local personal property & VA State Tax revenues) ~ therefore, I decline any solicitations or donate to such ‘Slush’ funds.
Someone from this number have been calling me for about 3 weeks. The caller ID just says "I". I never answered and no message was ever left. Today I finally decided to answer. When I said hello, I got this pause before a man came on. I knew it must be some type of telemarkter because that's what happens when you first get the pause. Then he asked to speak to me by name. But before I let him continue or verify who I was I just said would you please stop calling this number and hung up. I'll see if I get any more calls. Probably will. And I am on the do not call list too. Why if they keep calling.
I have been getting these calls for about 3 weeks so started to log them since they started calling on Saturday and Sunday last weekend, yesterday they called 3 times. There is this number on the ID as I 571-364-0373 and I 703-372-0834, I don't answer and they leave no message, the problem is my health is not good and it seems the moment I can get a nap they call and disturb me. How in the world can they be stopped? I'm also on the Do Not Call List!
A call came in from 571-364-0373 on Saturday afternoon. A male asked for my sister by her nickname. I asked who's calling. Then a recording supposedly from law enforcement saying to drive carefully use seatbelts et cetera came on. If it was actually from law enforcement they probably wouldn't have used her nickname. Kind of disturbing considering her current condition.
