I've gotten this call they first said I was being sued then I said how the hell is that possible when I didn't file taxes this year they said did u file taxes last year I said no they hung up n didn't call back but last week they started calling back again saying they took it to court I got sued from the IRS well I looked the number up on here n seen I wasn't the only one I blocked them now my phone finally stopped ringing
An officer from the "IRS" called me from 571-402-8007, Woodbridge, VA, stating that my wife, Lydia Stoddard, was under investigation, then disconnected the call three times when Lydia began asking several questions, suspicious of it being a scam.
Received a phone call but no message left, so I called it back from a different phone number. Officer Mark Brown stated that I was under investigation and he needed the name and phone number of my attorney that would be handling me in this matter. I could tell it was a SCAM so I gave him the name of the County Sheriff and the Sheriff's Department's phone number.
