I get the calls too. The phone number presented 571-403-000 is a bogus number and can't be called. Caller claims that they are calling from Virginia and that my wife has qualified for $8000 of Federal Student loan money. The phone number is probably just an external call number mask to make it look like they're calling from Virginia. I asked them can I get their phone number to call back in case the call gets disconnected. Then I hear "click" with dead air. All the makings of a scam.
