See my post above, they do not want your vehicle or whatever item you are selling, they want your money.
It is a scam to trick you into sending them you money, while thinking you have their money.

Same here.  I put something on Craig's list and immediately got a text offering to buy it unseen and for my asking price "immediately"!  I was  VERY skeptical.  They asked if I had a paypal account and said they would pay today.  Is there a way to report them?

Ryan is still at it as of 9/2/14.  He is now using (631) 753-7911.  Somebody else (or maybe the same person) sent me a very similar message from (312) 971-4870.  This is the first time I have used Craig's list--and probably the last time.

Thursday Sept. 25, 2014 - trying something with me through my Kijiji posting. He is texting me for the best price and asking that I respond to [email protected]. His texts came from two different numbers (914) 295-8682 and (204) 514-6208. After I refuse to disclose my email address he said he wants to pay and needs my PayPal, email address. Scavenger. No wait, they have a use in the eco system.
