Tries to get personal info after telling me they are calling about a debt even though it is not mine . . . different middle initial but they want me to prove who I am by giving personal ID info. NO!! NO!! NO!!
This company calls numberous times a day. Somedays I have counted up to 10 calls from them on my caller ID. I know this is a collection company for one of my credit cards, but can this be harrassment if they are calling that many times. They sometimes start calling at early at 7:00a.m. and have called as last as 9:00p.m. Is there anyway to get them to stop calling so much, I have a small child who goes to bed early and they have woke him up numberous times because they call so late.
When I answered the phone, a recording came on saying there is an important message for my daughter. The recording also stated her first and last name. It also stated to push "1" for more details. I hesitated, and then pushed the "1" key. Before it had time to do anything else I panicked and hung up. My daughter hasn't lived at home for over 10 years. Who is this calling her at my number?? I called her and she doesn't know who it could be either. I knew I shouldn't even bother answering if I don't recognize the caller ID or number. That's why I have that feature....
Ok, heres' the deal on these people. I called this number back on Sunday, Sept. 23. It goes to Encore Receivables Management, Inc. (ERMI) - The number gets routed to a call center (Convergys)in Olate, Ks. There is also a Convergys Call Center in Moore, Ok.(where I live). Convergys handles the call center duties for ERMI. Mystery solved. Ignore them if you want, or call the number back and have a little fun with them. The girl I talked to was nice, and I was nice back. Give 'em hell! LOL
