571-431-1980 ... Caller ID showed ARM. Apparently a debt collector looking for a Mary McCartney who by the way does not live in our household. We've had our number for about 2 months. Apparently, she had this ph # before we did. I told the operator (after waiting for a person for about 1 minute) that she doesn't live in this household.
571-431-1980 is National Asset Recovery Services, a scavenger debt collection agency. They buy, old and invalid debts from collection agencies who long ago released the debt as non-collectible or invalid. They try to collect invalid debts through intimidation.
