If NATAD callerID's job is to call individuals, hear a "Hello," why do they not respond or answer? It's very irritating for a retired senior working all my life. I now, as well as others, what work ethics about incoming or outgoing telephone calls. It's called P.R. (Public Relations), it includes good manners that I was brought up from parents, they receive training for NATAD's employee(s), and then they don't say anything or leave any messages? I've left messages that were work-related. How hard is it to be courteous? Or is it better to be irritating and bothersome?
I might suggest keep them on the phone by giving them "some" information that is made up but most important is to keep them talking so they are not selling and wasting their selling time. This works on all types of phone scammers, remember on this idiot company they perport to sell you an auto warranty which "THEY CLAIM" is great the BBB will caution you that almost ALL are ripoffs, if you don't think so look them up OR pay $2700 or ??? to find they pay little or ZERO the choice is yours. I would bargain with the new car dealer on the one they sell, yes you can wheel and deal on price even if they claim no-way. So remember HOT AIR means no SALE to these jerks, Mikey says "try it you will like it".
