Received a call from 571-441-0114 on 20 NOV 2014 @ 1:08 PM with caller ID as " I " . . . caller is soliciting funds as ‘Charity’ for the local Herndon, VA Police Protection fund. They wouldn't take no for an answer. This “ I “ company soliciting funds on behalf of the VA Local Police organization (that normally is paid by Virginia personal property & tax payers revenues) will keep most, if not ALL of the donations they collect ~ so, I decline to contribute to such ‘Slush Funds.’
Wanting money for the police protection fund. Wouldn't take no for an answer. The company doing the calling keeps most of that money they collect, so I don't give to them. The caller ID just showed "I" as the caller.

Sick and tired of these early Saturday morning phone calls from 571-441-0114 just to wake me up a little after a.m. after having had a very busy work week. I can't even sleep in early Saturday mornings without a rude wake-up call from this number every Saturday morning EARLY! PLEASE STOP THE RUDENESS! The name that shows up in the display appears as "CHARITY" 571-441-0114. When I finally pickup after about 3 or 4 rings, there is no response on the other end of the call and I hear a strange sound. When I call back, I only get a busy signal or some other weird sound in the phone line. This is outrageous to be awakened by a telephone ringing very early every Saturday morning.
Same as above, crack of dawn on a Saturday. Same guy called last week and I told him not to call me. Today the call came from the 571-441-0114 number, generic ID of "charity". "Brian" called me by my first name (at least buy me a drink first) and launched into his spiel. I told him it was too early on a Saturday, he doesn't know me well enough to use my first name, and that I had asked to be removed. He got very rude and said "Well maybe you will be able to donate next time". After reading the comments here and on other pages about similar calls, the answer would be no. If I want to support the FOP, I will send my $ directly to their headquarters.
Is 9:20 A. M. and I get this call, I never answer to calls I don't know the number, so my the machine answer for me (yes I still have one of those and is very convenient), it had the phone number above and it said "Charity". The person ask for my name. How do they know my name? Is there a way to stop calls like this?
