Having a similar TXT conversaiton right now with this phone number, person is wanting to use PAYPAL for an item that I have on craigslist and wants to use a shipper to pick up the item. Then he (I think it is a "bot" doing these txt & emails) comes back and says the money is with western union. The body of the email follows:
Thanks for using PayPal online secure payment, We want you to know that Gerrad Lewis have make the total payment into your PayPal account including shipping, All you just need to do is to go straight to western union store and pay the sum of $100.00 USD you are asked to pay to the shipping company from your POCKET, Or you should visit www.westernunion.com online and send the money to the address stated below, And we want you to know that once you make the payment from your pocket and you get back to us with the western union details, We will take the final step to credit the funds into your account, We are still holding the funds for security purpose, And we are trying to protect the both sides due to the scams going on online now and the condition the buyer's is.

I just had a text exchange with this number. They were trying the same scam with me. I tried to get them to send more money to my Paypal account and when they didn't take the bait I posted a personals ad in the m4m section on Craig's List and included the phone number. I'm about to start taunting him about it now.
Super sketchy. Got called by this number and then texted by a different number regarding an item on Craigslist. Luckily I saw other people had the same issue so I told them to stop and blocked the number.
